Grub and Grooves will make a comeback in Junction City. The entertainment and food trucks have proved popular in recent years in the downtown area.
Craig Bender, Military Affairs Council Director, said the weather is starting to warm back up so the first of those events will occur in May. "The first one will be probably the last Friday in May. " There will not be one in June since that is near the Freedom Fest celebration time.
Bender expects the first Grub and Grooves to be held on North Washington on a vacant lot across from Godfrey's Indoor Ranges and Tactical Supply and the others to be held in Heritage Park. Grub and Grooves is normally held on the last Friday of the month.
