The annual United Way dinner scheduled for May 4 has been postponed, the organization announced on Wednesday.
"At this time, due to unavoidable scheduling conflicts, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Annual Dinner and Volunteer Appreciation," Executive Director Nichole Mader said. "While we know this is disappointing, we want to provide an event that everyone can enjoy as well as give our volunteers the spotlight that they deserve. We hope you understand."
Mader said a new date will be announced once it is confirmed. Those who have already purchased can either request a refund or keep the reservation for the new date.
