With sustained winds of 10 to 25 mph and gusting to 35 mph, the National Weather Service in Topeka is warning of a very high fire danger Monday and Tuesday.

There is also a chance of severe storms beginning Tuesday night. There is a chance of showers or thunderstorms through Friday across the Flint Hills.

The high temperature Tuesday and Wednesday is expected to be in the mid-80s, with a high of just 60 degrees by Friday.&nbsp;
