Carrie Lee Eden, 91 years young, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born February 14, 1935 in Coushatta, Louisiana to Lee and Lola Farley, was a devoted wife, mother, and civil service employee for over 30 years at Fort Riley, Kansas.

Carrie was known for being kind, patient, strict but fair.

She is survived by six children: Sylvia D. Norman-Eden, Gregory S. Eden, Leary F. Eden, Calvin L. Eden Jr., Vermon C. Eden, and Harold F. Eden.

A visitation and memorial service will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026 at Johnson &amp; Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home, located at 203 N. Washington St., Junction City, Kansas 66441. The visitation will be from 10:00am - 11:00am with the memorial service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, located at 5181 Wildcat Creek Road, Manhattan, Kansas 66503 on the same day at 1:00pm.
