After a Tuesday and Wednesday with the thermometer topping out around 60, the National Weather Service in Topeka is forecasting a return of winter weather Thursday.
There is a 30 percent chance of a rain-snow mix Thursday morning, increasing to 80 percent by Thursday night.
A 20 mph northeast wind and 30 mph gusts will lead to cold, blustery conditions.
The snow-rain mix is expected to continue into Friday morning before skies clear.
