According to information from the Geary County Detention Center, Junction City Vice Mayor Alovence Gordon has been arrested on requested charges of Aggravated Assault and Deadly Use of a Weapon. He was booked into the Detention Center at 3:41 p.m. Saturday.
Gordon's term on the Junction City Commission runs until January. He ran for reelection but was defeated in the August primary election.
