Optimist Club donates to the Geary County Historical Society

Kim Neptune, Director of Programs and Education at the Geary County Historical Society, shared information about school days in the 1850's and received a $200.00 donation to continue working with youth interested in Geary County History.  Kim stated that "History Alive" a pioneer reenactment will be an onsite experience for Junction City Middle School Eighth Graders on April 25, 2025. The reenactment will be held at the Spring Valley Historic Site at the corner of K-18 and Spring Valley Road in Junction City.
