On Friday just after 8:30 a.m. Geary County Sheriff's Deputies responded to K-177 Highway at mile marker 92 in reference to a 2-vehicle injury accident. The Shriff's Office reported that Khristina Hearn of Alta Vista was traveling northbound in her Toyota Camry when she was struck by a Subaru Impreza being operated by Bayron Fernandez-Reyes of Ft. Riley. Occupants from the Toyota were evaluated by EMS and were released at the scene. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by the drivers.
