JCHS Duo Crowned State Champion

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. – Junction City High School recently saw Jacob Roeser and Winter Amoyan claim state championship honors in their respective areas of expertise at the 2026 Kansas State Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference in Topeka.

Roeser, a junior, posted a first place showing in Banking and Financial Systems at the Stormont Vail Events Center, while Amoyan, who is also a junior, captured top accolades in Financial Statement Analysis. By placing first overall, Roeser and Amoyan both qualified for the 2026 National FBLA Conference, which will take place June 29 through July 2 in San Antonio, Texas.

Roeser, Amoyan and several other Blue Jays were more than 1,600 Kansas middle and high school students who traveled to Topeka to compete in nearly 50 categories, ranging from banking and financial systems to website coding and development, as part of this year’s state leadership conference.
