RILEY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 9a.m. Tuesday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2005 Chevy Silverado driven by Vernon Vandahl, 74, Manhattan, traveled the wrong way up the offramp of North Seth Child Road at Anderson Avenue.
The pickup clipped a 2009 Lexus GX driven by Kim Nguyen, 47, of Manhattan.
After impact, the Lexus traveled off the roadway and into the ditch next to the ramp. Nguyen and a passenger of her car Jenni Ngo, 23, of Manhattan were transported to Via Christi for treatment of minor injuries.

MANHATTAN - Two people were transported by Riley County EMS to Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan following a two vehicle crash near the northbound off-ramp of Seth Child Road at Anderson Avenue on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the northbound off-ramp on Seth Child Road at Anderson at just after 9:30 am.
When crews arrived they located a Chevy Silverado and a Lexus which were involved in the crash which caused the Lexus to travel off the ramp and into the ditch.
The off-ramp was closed while emergency crews worked the incident, but it has since been reopened to normal travel.
