
Free Concerts, the Freedom parade, vendors, a car & truck show, the veterans ceremony, fireworks and a carnival will be among the many activities for Freedom Fest JC. The annual celebration in downtown Junction City runs July 3-7.
The headliner concert by Molly Hatchet is scheduled at 8:30 p.m. Saturday July 6. Other concerts will range from tribute group performances to Loverboy and Journey, the Best of Motown & More, Goddesses of Rock, Hells/Bells; #1 AC/DC Tribute and The Original Silver Bullet: Tribute to Bob Seger.
The Pompeyo Family & Their Amazing Dogs are scheduled all five days. There will be helicopter rides Thursday, Friday and Saturday July 4, 5 and 6. Freedom on Wheels goes on Saturday July 6 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at 10 p.m. July 4.
The 48th annual Freedom Run will begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday July 4 and there will be a Worship in the Park service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday July 7.
Freedom Fest JC typically attracts visitors to downtown Junction City from throughout the community and other area cities.
