RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged aggravated assault in Manhattan.
Just after 7a.m. Thursday police responded to the 1200 Block of Yuma Street in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 74-year-old man hit a 52-year-old man with a bat. The 52-year-old suspect threw a wooden board at the 74-year-old.
Police did not report how seriously the men were injured or if they were transported for treatment. There is also no report of an arrest in the case that remains under investigation.
