Geary County Sheriff's Deputies responded late Wednesday afternoon to K-177 mile marker 90 for a rollover accident. The Sheriff's Department reported that Erin Woods, Council Grove, was southbound in a 2017 Nissan Versa when she passed in a no-passing zone and made an unsafe lane change, striking Garold Miller, Herington who was driving a 2019 Ford F150. The collision caused the Nissan Versa to go off the road and roll into a ditch. Woods was transported by EMS for complaint of head, chest and neck pain.
The Nissan Versa was removed from the scene by a wrecker and the Ford 150 was removed by the driver.
