Brandon Runnels, 34, of Junction City, KS, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Johnson Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a sharing of memories at 11:00 a.m. A graveside committal will be held at Highland Cemetery following the visitation. Brandon was born October 19, 1986, in Junction City, KS the son of Cedric P. and Barbara A. (Watts) Runnels. Brandon enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was loved by all. Brandon loved sports. He coached various children's sporting events at the Junction City YMCA. Survivors include his father Cedric Runnels of Beaumont, TX and his mother Barbara Runnels of Junction City, KS; one sister, Alonia Runnels of Beaumont, TX; two uncles, Ernest Miller of Manhattan, KS and Eric Runnels of Sour Lake, TX; two aunts, Janet James of Manhattan, KS and Janice Smith of Henderson, KY and a host of other relatives and friends.
