COWLEY COUNTY—A Manhattan teen was injured in an accident just after 9a.m. Tuesday in Cowley County.
A 2014, Ford F-150 driven by 18 year-old Jack Titgemeyer of Manhattan was traveling north through the intersection of 32nd Road and 151st Road, according to Cowley County Sheriff Dave Faletti.
Titgemeyer failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a 2011 Chevrolet Cruz driven by 38-year-old Atlanta, Kansas resident Jennifer Green.
After impact the pickup rolled into a bean field landing upright. The Chevy traveled through a ditch and struck a road marker sign.
Winfield EMS transported Titgemeyer to William Newton Hospital. Eagle Med transported Green to Wesley Hospital in Wichita.
Winfield EMS also transported a passenger in the Chevrolet 41-year-old Atlanta, Kansas resident, Joseph Mancine to Wesley Hospital.
The sheriff's office released no additional details.
