The Junction City Rotary Club has rededicated the Eagles Building, as it's called now to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Junction City.
Fort Riley Garrison Commander Col. Michael Foote delivered remarks delving into the history of the building and its significance over the past 106 years. Despite the many changes that have occurred in the world, much has remained the same. This event served as a testament to that fact.
The building that today is owned and operated by the Fraternal Order of the Eagles JC was originally dedicated as a Community Building for returning WWI Soldiers. The building was funded by 11th District Rotary Clubs, including the Junction City Rotary Club.
