United Way of Junction City / Geary County has announced that the Food Pantry of Geary County is in need of donations. The Pantry feeds hundreds of community members each month.
Current needs include cereal, peanut butter, jelly, rice, canned chicken, instant mashed potatoes, tomato products, hamburger helper and tuna helper. The drop-off location is 700A West 7th Street.
United Way also announced that Dillons Food Store #44 and Mathis Lueker Real Estate are coming together to help the community. All food collected will go to help the food pantries in Junction City and Chapman. Stop by on October 31st at 809 South Washington from 9am-5pm.
Purchase food at Dillons Store or bring non-perishable food only.
