The Geary County Free Fair will be held July 20-23 at the fairgrounds adjacent to South Spring Valley Road.
Fair Board President Amy Blockcolsky told the Geary County Commission on Monday this is the 100th year fot the fair, which in addition to 4-H events,will include open class competition. On July 23rd the 4-H Barbecue and Central National Bank Watermenlon Feed followed by the 4-H Livestock and Project Auction will occur, plus the Clarks Creek 4-H Club will host an ice cream social on July 22.
There will also be a special baking contest with apple pie during the fair.

The Junction City Rodeo will be July 17 and 18th.
