Kathy J. Swisher passed away at Meadowlark Hospice House in Manhattan, Kansas February 27, 2024. Kathy was born April 7, 1958 in Abilene, Kansas the daughter of Chester and Eunice Gay. Kathy married Thomas Swisher on November 2, 1991 and to this union two sons were born, Andrew Swisher (Luxi), Kenan Swisher (Jodie).
Kathy is survived by her sons, her mother and her brother Dennis Gay and sister Sue Smith (Mark). Kathy was preceded in death by her father and husband.
In keeping with Kathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Kathy would have wanted to share John 11:25. “Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.”
Memorials may be made to The Good Shepard Hospice House and may be sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home 501 N. Buckeye Abilene, Kansas 67410
