Dorothy Bramlage Public Library will be closed on Monday for the Labor Day holiday.
September is also national library card sign up month. Adults who sign up for a library card in September will receive an opportunity to join the Friends of the Library with a free membership.
American Girl Tea party that will hosted by the Library on Sept. 10 at the C.L. Hoover Opera House from 2-3 p.m. This is for infant to 17 years and a parent or adult. There will be activities and games. There is no cost to attend. There will be a doll auction and tickets for the auction are $2. Those planning to attend can sign up in the Young People's Department at the Library. Registration is required by Sept. 5.
