Sportsman's Acres will be the location for the second annual Shop with a Cop fundraiser shoot on Saturday, Oct. 22, with the competition beginning at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $50, which includes breakfast and lunch. You need to bring your own ammunition or purchase it at the range.

Competition will consist of 25 16-yard trap targets and 25 Hunter's Challenge 5-stand targets. Prizes will be awarded for the top three shooters with the top shooter winning a shotgun. There will also be a couple of Annie Oakley Knock-out shoots by separate entry for prizes or cash purse held during the day.

This event is sponsored by the Junction City Police Department with proceeds supporting Shop with a Cop program that helps local needy kids purchase holiday gifts each year.
