Junction City, KS — 8/25/2025 – The Junction City Rotary Club, in partnership with the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 830, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #830 Ladies Auxiliary, JC Waters True Value, and the City of Junction City, has officially broken ground on an exciting new community project at 5th Street Park.
The project will feature a large-scale Rotary map design, a unique and interactive installation that has been implemented by Rotary Clubs across the country. Locally, JC Rotary has already completed a similar project at Seitz Elementary School bringing educational and engaging outdoor spaces to area students.
JC Waters True Value has generously donated the paint for the project, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and community support that has made this project possible.
The 5th Street Park Map Project represents the power of partnership and the shared commitment of local organizations to enhancing Junction City’s parks and public spaces for families.
