Maj. Gen. Monte Rone told a Military Affairs Council Breakfast audience in Junction City this week that Fort Riley can't be a secret.
Rone noted that his concern is always the single soldiers finding opportunities to do things, "finding unique ways that we can take care of all our Soldiers, especially single soldiers." He told the audience that their help is needed.
Rone also stressed that overall priorities include taking care of the soldiers and their families, being disciplined and being trained.
On another subject the Combat Aviation Brigade is back from deployment.
Rone said he also loved serving as the commanding general of the 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley. "We're in a special situation here in central Kansas."
