The Geary County Public Works Department advises motorists of a change to narrow a bridge located on West Lyons Creek Rd, 5 miles South of Hwy 77. Due to the bridges limited width, oncoming vehicles may not be able to pass simultaneously, and caution is advised. Appropriate signage has been installed to alert drivers to the restricted roadway conditions.
All motorists are urged to slow down, obey posted warning signs, and proceed with caution when approaching or crossing the bridge. Geary County Public Works is looking at options for future replacement of this bridge.
