The Primary Election for the 10 Junction City Commission candidates is just three weeks away. In-person advance voting begins on Wednesday, July 16, at the Geary County Office Building. The office building is located at 200 E. 8th St. in Junction City.
The only race on the ballot is the Junction City Commission race. 10 candidates are up for election. The primary election will trim the candidate list from 10 to six before the general election in November. (Three seats are available on the Commission).
The 10 candidates are: William R. Arnold Jr., Terry Butler, Heath Gadberry, Jim Germann, Al Gordon, Robert Laster, Joe Markley, Kelly Niemczyk, John L. Tice, and Sam Yoskowitz.
The In-person voting schedule is listed below.
July 16th - July 18th - 8:30 am-5:00 pm
July 21st – July 25th - 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Saturday, July 26th - 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
July 28th – August 1st - 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Monday, August 4th - 8:30 am - Noon
