RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Saturday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Stevie Allen, 36 Bennington, struck a 2016 Jeep Renegade driven by Alani Lanning, 32, of La Cygne, near the intersection f of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Griffith Driver in Manhattan.
EMS transported Lanning to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Allen was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
