Kaitlyn Butler is the Geary County 4-H Queen and Wyatt Miller the King for 2020. They were introduced prior to the 4-H Horse show Sunday evening at the horse arena on the fairgrounds.

Butler said when she was younger she always looked up to the 4-H queen. "And I have so many younger 4-H'ers that look up to me. " Butler added when she ran for the post it inspired her to get new members to join 4-H. This is the 11th year in 4-H for the Chapman High School senior.

Miller expressed his thoughts about becoming king. " It shows that anybody can do something if they put their mind to it."

The announcement and horse show kicked off Fair activities  this week that run Monday through Thursday.  Today ( Monday ) the schedule includes Foods judging beginning at 10 a.m.
