Nyla Jean Mathies was born in Paxico, Kansas July 4, 1931 she went to Heaven on June 4, 2024 to be with God and her family.
Born to Fred and Ella [Martens] Mathies. She was Baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in McFarland KS. She worked at Palace Drug in Aggieville, Aggie Hardware. She Retired from Kansas State University in 2003 after 20 years of service.
She is survived by 1 son Daniel and his wife Kay, 3 grandchildren Shawn, Shelby, Candice 7 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by 7 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 grandson Colby Scott Mathies in 2015. She loved to read and sew.
Services will be held at the McFarland cemetery Saturday June 22 at 10:00 am. Pastor Micheal Schmidt presiding.
