Jacqie Reisinger has been elected during a Geary County Republican Central Committee Convention to fill the unexpired term of Register of Deeds, Diane Briestensky Leonard, who is retiring Aug. 30.

The recommendation now goes to Gov. Kelly for final approval.

Reisinger has been serving as Deputy Register of Deeds.
