JUNCTION CITY, Kan. - Junction City High School had a strong showing this week at the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Championships in Hutchinson. The Blue Jays had 21 students compete in 10 different events at the championships.
Individually, junior Brittney Dibben claimed gold honors in Prepared Speech to lead JCHS. By winning the competition, Dibben qualified for nationals, which will take place in Atlanta, Ga., in June. In all, JCHS had a total of 10 students claim either silver or bronze, respectively.
