Junction City Athletic Training Center will present the Frozen Monkey Obstacle Course Challenge to raise funds for Upper Deck summer baseball participants. The date will be Sunday, Dec. 19.
People of any age can participate. The race will consist of a short jog then it goes right into the obstacle course. There will be awards inside the Athletic Training Center with a silent baked goods auction. There will also be smoked barbecue and a frozen t-shirt challenge plus door giveaways.
Rick Bazan with the Athletic Training Center said the cost of the race for participants will be $25 and includes a free t-shirt. You do not have to sign up for the race to enjoy the event. Sign up will be at the Junction City Athletic Training Center Facebook page.
The Center is located at 934 East 4th Street.
