The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday for the new Casey's General Store in Junction City. Casey's District Manager Ann Mitchell cut the ribbon to officially open the new Casey's General Store at 1736 N. Washington St., right off Grant Avenue.
As a part of the ribbon-cutting, Ann Mitchell presented a $500 check to the Geary County Food Pantry. In attendance and accepting the check donation was Stephanie Diehl (President of the Board - Geary County Food Pantry), and Bob Marsh (Warehouse Manager - Geary County Food Pantry).
This week the Geary County Food Pantry is celebrating one year of operations at their new location and building at 700A West Seventh Street.
