Historical Society provides information on a past big snow

. This photo of the corner of 7th and Washington is from an Easter blizzard in April 1920! It was reported at the time that 18" fell with snow drifts up to 5 feet.

The National Weather Service reported that Junction City received 16 inches of snow this past weekend. The Geary County Historical Society published via Facebook a storm of this magnitude with 18 inches of snow occurred during an Easter blizzard in April of 1920.
