Junction City firefighters responded to a blaze on Grant Ave. about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. The vacant business building, known as Frank's Auto in the past, was engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported. Fire Chief Jason Lankas also noted that authorities are still investigating the current name for the 5,000 square foot structure, which was a total loss.
Cause of the blaze is under investigation. Firefighters were on scene until about noon on Wednesday.
