Familiar events are scheduled to return to Junction City High School this spring, yet another sign the coronavirus pandemic is easing up.

Dr. Reginald Eggleston, USD 475 Superintendent of Schools, told the Board of Education that officials are making preparations for activities at the high school. Last year we were unable to have many of the activities due to COVID-19."

Eggleston stated that interrupted the prom, senior day and graduation. "So it is our intention this year to have those events, and we're going through the protocols in order to ensure students can participate and that all safety measures are in place."

The prom is scheduled May 15, awards night May 26 and commencement on May 30.
