Kansas American Legion supports children of Soldiers in multiple categories. They include children of deployed Soldiers, those in the Soldier Recovery Unit or undergoing a Medical Evaluation Board, those in the Exceptional Family Member Program, Survivor Outreach Services families and military families in need by providing gifts for the children through Operation North Pole.
The Army explained this is scheduled Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the SRU Clamshell, 675 McGinnis Way, Fort Riley.
