Back to School Safety Reminder!
As the new school year kicks off on Monday, August 12th, we want to remind everyone to drive safely and stay alert, especially around school zones. Here are some important safety tips:
School Zones: The speed limit in school zones is 20 mph. Please slow down and keep an eye out for children.
Crosswalks: Remember, pedestrians always have the right of way. Be extra cautious and yield to students crossing the street.
School Buses: All traffic traveling in both directions must stop when school buses pick up or drop off students. It's the law and ensures our kids' safety.
Drop-off/Pick-up: If you're dropping off or picking up children, follow your school's procedures to ensure everyone stays safe.
