The House of Ruth thanks Community Partners in the 2021 Winter Coat Drive for Kids

On behalf of The House of Ruth I would like to say thank you to everyone who partnered with us for our first Winter Coat Drive for Kids. We came together as a community to bless our schools with winter  coats for kids. Thanks you to volunteers  Dewonna Goodridge, Kimberly Knight, Mercy Goodridge for taking pictures and for helping get the coats to the schools. 

I want to thank the Junction City community and the following organizations for agreeing to be a part of the effort with The House of Ruth, including  The New Church of The Living God, the Geary Riley Saline Alumnae Chapter of Deltas Sigma Theta Sorority, the VFW Post 8773, the Military Order of the Cooties Pup Tent #6, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Thank You to Grandview Elementary, Washington Elementary, Westwood Elementary and Sheridan Elementary Schools in Junction City plus Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School in Manhattan for allowing us to donate coats to their school for the kids.

Support was appreciated from the  Fraternal Order of the  Eagles # 830 Ladies Auxiliary, the Eagles Riders # 830, the Eagles,  First Prespertian Baptist Church and the Morris Hill Baptist Church plus the Kansas Council of Deliberation for Choosing The House of Ruth to be their 2021 donation recipient. 

 I would like to thank the Daily Union, Eagle Radio and everyone in the community who helped spread the news about the Winter Coat Drive  for Kids.

To my USD 475 Alumni and the JC4 Life, Pearl Laster for her weekly Pod Cast, Friends and Veterans who were stationed in Fort Riley near and far away thank you all for sending coats and monetary donations to support the drive.
