MANHATTAN, KAN. – A Manhattan man has been arrested in connection to the murder of a two-year-old child in Manhattan.
Just before 11a.m. December 1, officers responded to the report of a critically injured two-year-old boy at Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, according to RCPD spokesperson Aaron Wintermote. The child died later that day.
On Thursday, officers arrested Gage Anderson, 21, of Manhattan, on requested charges of First-Degree Murder and Abuse of a Child.
Anderson and the victim shared a place of residence. Anderson is confined in the Riley County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
