Howard Johnson hit a three-point shot from just beyond the top of the free throw circle in the closing seconds of overtime and then Ismael Fadiga grabbed an errant pass by Seaman ( 7-7 ) and the Junction City Blue Jays ( 10-3 ) defeated the Vikings 66-64 in overtime in Topeka.
The game was tied 58-58 at the end of regulation and for the third time in ten days the Blue Jays found themselves in an overtime game. Junction City went 2-1 in those contests, defeating Washburn Rural and Seaman but they lost to Topeka West.
