FORT RILEY, Kansas – The 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley celebrate 108 years of the Big Red One during Victory Week 2025.

Victory Week is a tradition of sportsmanship, competition, and camaraderie to celebrate the First Division. This year they also celebrate the Army’s milestone 250th Birthday. Soldiers are competing in a variety of sporting events, including flag football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, 3/5/10k walk/run, innovation challenge, and more throughout the week. The Brigade with the most points from across these events will win the coveted Victory Cup trophy, presented Friday, June 27, before the Maddie & Tae concert at Artillery Parade Field.

One of the cornerstone events of Victory Week is the Commanders vs. Command Sergeants Major softball game. This year the game will be held at Rathert Field in Junction City, highlighting the close ties between Fort Riley and the surrounding community. The game takes place Thursday, 26 June at 5 p.m.
