Harry Lewis Woods, 73, Wamego, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020, at his home. He was born March 7, 1947 in Soda Springs, Idaho, the son of Joseph B. and Hazel Harriett (Bell) Woods. Harry graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming and attended Arizona State University before graduating from the University of Wyoming.

He worked in the arts and theater his entire working careers. He most lately worked as Theater Director at Mountain Theatre in Crested Butte, CO (2012 – 2019), prior to the Cheyenne Little Theatre in Cheyenne, WY, and the University of Wyoming Theater Department and the University of Kansas Theater Department.

Harry is survived by his sister, Elaine J. (Woods) Patterson and husband Willis R. Patterson, of Riverton, WY, and his nephew, Cody Patterson and his wife Katie Fitzpatrick, of Wamego, KS.

Harry’s wishes were to be cremated, with a private scattering service held later.
