
There were a number of K-State facts covered by KSU President, Dr. Richard Linton, during remarks to the Manhattan City Commission this week.
--KSU is one of best in the world for biosecurity,
--Eleven buildings are being built as part of the Agriculture innovation Effort.
--There are 217,000 KSU alumni.
--Linton noted that KSU is moving more toward what Kansans think they need in research in the future.
--Four Dean positions are open but there are good interim leaders.
--Dorms are full at 95% capacity right now, and solutions will be needed if the university wants to get 24,000 overall enrollment for KSU.
