JUNCTION CITY, Kansas - Junction City Main Street has announced the dates for their 2nd Annual Taste of Culture Events: Cups of Culture and International Food Tour. These two events are centered around Junction City’s diversity that fuels our amazing community! Cups of Culture, a 21+ event, will run from 4:30PM-8:30PM, on Friday May 3rd throughout Downtown Junction City. International Food Tour will run in conjunction with Main Street Market’s kick-off on Saturday May 4th, from 10:00AM-2:00PM and will be hosted in the parking lots near the corner of 8th and Jefferson streets, by Central National Bank.
The Cups of Culture event engages community members in familiarizing themselves with the amazing businesses Downtown Junction City has to offer, all while sampling diverse liquors and snacks from around the world! Participants will check-in at 4:30PM at Junction City Main Street at 129 W 7th Street and will receive a special commemorative glass and Downtown JC map of participating storefronts. This same weekend, the International Food Tour event will highlight and celebrate the cultural diversity that Junction City boasts. Attendees will purchase a “passport” that gives them access to each of the local food vendors that will represent different global cuisines. With their “passports” in hand, attendees will travel from each vendor, earning them a travel stamp and a delicious sample to delight their taste buds.

It was great to stroll Downtown JC, visit our local businesses, and enjoy fellowship with friends. It really displayed what our Downtown has to offer. I’ve already bought my tickets for 2024!”
