MANHATTAN—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Manhattan teen for alleged theft and domestic battery.
A 19-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man reported an 18-year-old male known to them injured the woman victim, damaged her shirt and necklace, restrained her, then stole a 2013 Ford Fusion and a green Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $11,114.
Police later recovered the Ford Fusion.
Police arrested Luke Patrick Johnson, 18, of Manhattan on requested charges of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, criminal restraint, criminal deprivation of property and theft.
