Individual tickets for the ninth Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet on March 1st at the Junction City Building, 700 North Jefferson, are available for $30 apiece. A buffet-style meal will be provided (there will be a lent option). This event is scheduled from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00, a meal at 6:30 and the program begins at 7:00.
The banquet will honor selected officers and employees who have performed exemplary service beyond their normal duties in 2023!
Up to 14 honorees will be selected from the JCPD, Grandview Plaza PD, Geary County Sheriff’s Office, County Detention Center, Fort Riley Police Department, Fort Riley game wardens, Fort Riley CID, Kansas Highway Patrol, Milford State Park and/or Army Corps of Engineers rangers, 8th Judicial District Community Corrections, 8th Judicial District Court Services, dispatchers, administrators and North Central Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Facility.
