The Lady Jay tennis team traveled to Topeka on Wednesday for the Topeka High Tennis Invitational. Coach Matt Mikheel said that the Lady Jays came away with multiple wins in multiple divisions.
Number 2 singles player Julia Cho went 2-2 on the day, and both doubles events went 2-2 on the day. Competing in the top doubles flight were Grace Harris and Stephanie Stanislow. Ohemaa Sarpong and Rebecca Monroe competed at the #2 doubles spot. Each doubles team finished out their day by winning in straight sets over their opponents.
Rachel Cho competed in the top singles flight and went 1-3 on the day, also finishing with a straight set victory. The Lady Jays have a quick turnaround as they travel to Olathe on Thursday for the Olathe Northwest Quadrangular. Matches will be held at the College Boulevard Activity Complex and start at 3 pm.
