The final meeting of the year of the Junction City Association of Retired School Personnel was held May 9. A memorial service for those who were lost, but not forgotten was led by Louise Jahnke, JCARSP Chaplain. Special remembrance was offered for Judy Rosa, who died during this year.
The evening concluded with appreciation shown to Peggy Bennett, who is retiring as Calling Committee Chairperson and Louise, who will continue as Chaplain. Shelley Buchanan will be the Calling Committee Chairperson next year. Others recognized were Anita Rogge, Vice President; Nita Miller, Secretary; Sheila Ritchie and Margaret Kilpatrick, Past President.
Installation of new officers included Sierra Jackson, President; Dr. Beth Hudson, Vice President; Nita Miller will continue as Secretary; Sheila Ritchie, who will continue as Treasurer and Ferrell Miller will be the Past President.
