Mary Ann (Carlson) McAdams, 88, died July 10, 2020 at Medicalodge in Clay Center. She was born February 12, 1932 on the farm east of Morganville. The family moved to Morganville in 1936. Mary Ann grew up in Morganville where she attended school all 12 years. She also attended church, Sunday School, singing in the choir, participated in youth fellowship, taught Sunday School and Bible School classes in Morganville.
Mary Ann married Max McAdams on April 13, 1952 and they farmed west of Morganville. In December 1993, they moved to Clay Center. She was a homemaker, farmer, and after moving to Clay Center, she was a volunteer for CASA for 10 years.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Max; children, Debra Kovarik (Ernie), Deirdre Moore (Bob) and Rodney McAdams (Caryn); grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Holly Koehn, Jesse Moore, Ashley Fischer, and Ryan McAdams; 9 great grandchildren; and her brother, Royal Carlson.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15 at Bloom Cemetery, rural Morganville, KS
