The Junction City High School JROTC students were able to hear First Lieutenant Alma Cooper speak on Wednesday. First Lieutenant Cooper, who currently holds the title of Miss USA, spoke to the students about demanding excellence for themselves.
In her speech to the students, she said, “If you can see me, you can be me.” The message from the quote implies that that there is no limitation that you face that you can’t overcome.
Following her speech, the students were able to take a photo and talk with Miss USA.
